THEATRE & PHOTOGRAPHY

I meet a great group of photographers on the site Group F8, created from the initiative of Alfonso Infantes Castro. Some of them, like Ricardo Bautista, support with their work to companies like Teatro Xtremo from Jaén, with which, in his words, has "a personal commitment to support (...) to at least make them feel they are not alone in this". His work, which I think is a good example to talk about transparent looks, committed to what happens on stage but faithful to what they are watching, it is entirely altruistic. Ricardo's photographs capture and collect the proper expression and scenic spaces that cause our interest in what we see.

Grupo F8 consists of amateur and professional photographers from different parts of Spain. They are open to other art forms that can be linked in one way or another to photography. Also offer the suggestive possibility to add titles and captions to the photos, which I think is a very attractive idea for any word artisan who feels that an image can be a unique source of inspiration. It is a creative exercise that could lead to excellent results. According to Alfonso, "the portal itself is basically the continent, the content, which is really what matters, is provided by the photographers who make up the group". The site has no financial claims, thus relieving us of cumbersome advertising. Photographers are free to expose, with the logical conditions of minimum quality.

Ricardo and those members from Grupo F8 who wish are invited to the roundtable The Transparent Look we are planning for mid-October, through this blog, about theater and photography with photographers from different nationalities specialized in this field of photography and about which I will speak soon.

I show you some of my favorite pictures of Ricardo Bautista and I invite you as well to tour in their web page and enjoy their photographies.
